Unatrac offer direct export sales of the complete range of new and used Caterpillar Construction, Mining, Power Generation and Materials Handling Equipment throughout Europe and the Rest of the World.
The role as a Unatrac Sales Engineer requires travel throughout Europe and Africa and needs its graduates to be flexible and fully qualified on the rigors of the role. With limited resource internally to handle the seasonal approach to graduate recruitment combined with not being known as a graduate recruiter Unatrac called on the expertise of Discovery Graduates to ensure there were enough high calibre, suitably qualified graduates for their assessment centre.
Discovery used their experience and a targeted approach to the advertising to attract more Graduates who may not have considered an opportunity such as the one on offer with Unatrac – those interested in a career in the manufacturing industry and flexible to travel throughout the world, at the same time as raising the profile of the company as a Graduate recruiter of choice.
Discovery worked quickly and efficiently responding to enquiries and applications to secure the right people. The first round assessments were conducted by Discovery Graduates through competency based assessment centres designed by Discovery Graduates.
The successful candidates were short listed for final assessment and selection by the Unatrac Managers. Discovery administered all the feedback and offers.
Discovery Graduates have maintained a 1½:1 interview to offer ratio and Unatrac has consistently enjoyed more choice because of the higher calibre of graduate put forward by Discovery for final selection. Unatrac have worked with Discovery Graduates year on year as their requirements have increased.
